Housekeeping Rules for a Smooth Ride

To keep our shared car in great condition and available for all residents, please follow these simple housekeeping rules and take note of the terms of use.

Return Vehicle

Vehicle has to be returned back to the designated parking bay.

Charging The Vehicle

Upon returning the vehicle, plug the vehicle into the charger for the next user before ending your booking.

Keep It Clean

Keep the vehicles in clean and tidy condition at all times.

Check For Damage

Inspect the vehicle for cleanliness and damage for reporting to ensure we monitor the condition.

Minimum Charge

Always return the vehicle with 25% minimum charge in case there is a booking right after.

Fair Usage

Only book the car if you are certain you'll use it. Avoid holding the car from other residents.

Booking Limits

All users are allowed 2 active bookings at once.

Booking in Advance

All bookings are allowed to be made up to 3 months in advance.

Booking Duration

Each booking has a maximum of 4 days limit.

Booking Intervals

Each booking has 15 minutes interval to allow flexibility.

Cancellation Policy

Bookings cancelled within 24hrs will be charged $20 penalty.

No Show

All no show bookings will be cancelled within 15 mins and receive $20 penalty charge.

Late Returns

Ensure the car is returned on time for next user. $20 late return fee will apply.

Insurance Excess

Just like any rental car, insurance $2500 excess applies.

In case of an accident or damage to the vehicle during a Ryd car rental, there is a standard excess fee of $2,500 that applies for the insurance coverage.
